I am currently a researcher at Sharif University of Technology. Previously, I was at Microsoft Research, and before that, I worked as a Software Engineer at Google Cloud in Pittsburgh and at Johnson Controls in York. I received my M.Sc. and Ph.D. both from West Virginia University.
My research interests lie at the forefront of robotics, AI, and machine learning, focusing on areas such as embodied AI for adaptive robots, vision-language-action systems, real-time decision-making, and human-robot collaboration in dynamic environments. I am also exploring adaptive reinforcement learning for multi-agent systems, edge AI for real-time decision-making, soft and bio-inspired robotics, and safe, explainable autonomy. My goal is to advance intelligent systems that are not only capable and efficient but also trustworthy and aligned with human needs.
